So our good friend Kinetik has a new project out this week entitled ‘Hip Hop Is Forever’. This is the first musical project to be pushed by Statemeant and the sole reason is that this is nothing short of a masterpiece. A pure good message infused with some laid back vibes, ideal for this summer. You can grab the album here.
The name K.I.N.E.T.I.K., in relation to “moving energy”, was bestowed upon him because he could “move you mentally, physically and spiritually”. In order to enhance his individuality, he also created the acronym “Knowledge and Intelligence Nurtured Into Effectively Tackling Incorrect Koncepts”, further reinforcing his steadfast intention of having something worthwhile to say in every verse.
Due to popular demand, the first ever tee sold by Statemeant makes a return.
Back for a limited run, the top is available here on pre order before it is officially released next week.
Order yours now to avoid disappointment as stocks will be limited so be warned!
Our friend Nazeem from Fear Of A Brown Planet has been commissioned for a 10 episode series to be screened on SBS One over in Australia called ‘Legally Brown’.
What differentiates Nazeem to other comics is his unique background. The professionally qualified tax consultant is also on the board of the Islamic Council of Victoria. He is an acknowledged spokesman for his community. Some conservative members urge him to moderate his humour while others want him to go further.
The reaction to how his latest work is perceived will be more than interesting and am sure will provide us with a laugh or two.
You can find more information on the upcoming series here.
